Make your own times tables worksheet
Most times tables worksheets come fixed: one sheet, the same questions every time. This one you build. Open the free maths worksheet generator, choose Times tables, and pick the table to practise, from the 2s right up to the 12s, or a mixed set that hops between several. Set how many questions, tick the answer key if you want one, and print.
Press the button again and you get a brand new set of questions, so the same child can have a different sheet each morning, and you never run out. It is free to use and print, with no account and no email, and nothing is saved or sent anywhere because it all runs in your browser.

A calm way to practise times tables
Times tables stick best in small, regular doses rather than long sessions:
- Five minutes is plenty. One short sheet a day does more than a long one once a week.
- One table at a time. Stay with a single table until it feels easy, then add the next.
- Mix in the ones they know. A new table next to a couple of familiar ones keeps it from feeling steep.
- Notice the effort, not just the score. A worksheet is practice, not a test.
Which times tables to start with
A common order, gentlest first: the 2s, 5s and 10s usually come first because their patterns are easy to see, then the 3s and 4s, the 6s, 7s, 8s and 9s, and finally the 11s and 12s. The generator makes a worksheet for any of them, so you can match the sheet to exactly where your child or class is up to.
