For foster carers, kinship carers & youth workers

Gentle books and calm printables for the little ones in your care.

The carers and youth workers who look after our youngest children do some of the most important work there is, and a calm bedtime story is one of the kindest parts of it. Our quiet picture books, free calm-corner and routine printables, and make-your-own tools are made for exactly those moments. Everything below is gentle, inclusive, and the printables are free with no sign-up.

Made for the bedtime read-aloud and the quiet corner

Whether you are a foster carer, a kinship carer, a family day carer, or a youth worker looking after little ones, the same gentle things help: a calm, familiar wind-down, a story that reassures, and a quiet corner for big feelings. We make picture books and printables for precisely that. They are calm-paced, inclusive of every background, with no religious, cultural or political content, and built to be re-read until they feel like home.

For care organisations & family day care

Bulk & organisation orders

Ordering our picture books for the children across a service, a family day care scheme, or a set of homes? We are happy to arrange a direct order and talk through titles, quantities, invoicing, and delivery. Organisations with a purchase-order process are very welcome, and every enquiry is handled personally, by a real person.

Class sets, library & bulk orders receive 20% off list price, typically ten or more copies (any mix of titles), arranged directly with an invoice and a shipping quote. Larger and standing orders, by arrangement.

To get a quote in one email. Send a short note to the address below with your organisation name and type, your country, which titles you would like (or just “please recommend”), how many copies, your timeframe, and whether you need a purchase order or invoice. Sent only some of those? That is fine, we will fill in the gaps together. We aim to reply personally within about two business days.

For carers and youth workers: common questions

Can foster and kinship carers use these books and printables?

Yes, and you are very welcome here. Our gentle picture books are made for the bedtime read-aloud and quiet moments, and the calm printables and routine charts suit the home. Everything is inclusive of all backgrounds, with no religious, cultural or political content. The printables download free with no sign-up.

Do you offer bulk orders for care organisations?

Yes. Family day care schemes, foster and kinship care services, and youth and community organisations can order class sets or library sets at 20 percent off, arranged directly with an invoice and a purchase order if you need one. Send us a short note and we will reply personally.

Are the resources gentle enough for a child who has had a hard start?

They are made to be calm, predictable and kind. Routine charts and calm-corner cards bring a steady, familiar shape to the day, and the stories are quiet and reassuring. They are gentle everyday resources to enjoy together, not clinical or therapeutic tools.

Is there a cost or a sign-up to use the free resources?

No. The printables and the make-your-own tools are free to print with no email and no account. Our picture books are available to buy in paperback and ebook, or by bulk order for an organisation.
